adsOlusegun Osoba, former Ogun State governor and elder statesman, has alleged that there is a coordinated political move against President Bola Tinubu in Southern Nigeria ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Osoba claimed the strategy is aimed at producing multiple presidential candidates from the South to divide votes and weaken Tinubu’s electoral strength in the region.

The former governor spoke at the Presidential Lodge in Abeokuta during the announcement of the results of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries in Ogun State.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, former presidential candidate Peter Obi, and Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde are seeking tickets of various parties to contest against Tinubu in 2027.

BusinessDay reports that in the primaries conducted across the 20 local government areas of the state, Tinubu secured 322,485 votes to emerge victorious, while his lone challenger, Stanley Osifo, polled zero votes.adsads
