Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday virtually inaugurated the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) and the Rural Technology Action Group Smart Village Centre (RSVC) at Vendugampalli in Kuppam mandal, marking a major push to the State government’s rural entrepreneurship mission under the “One Family – One Entrepreneur” initiative.Addressing the gathering virtually from Amaravati, the Chief Minister said villages could emerge as strong economic engines if technology, innovation and entrepreneurship were made accessible to rural youth. He said the government was focused on creating sustainable livelihoods in villages and reducing the need for migration to cities in search of jobs.“Every family should have an entrepreneur. Rural Andhra Pradesh has immense talent and potential. Our goal is to create opportunities at the grassroots,” Mr. Naidu said while interacting with officials and local leaders.The Chief Minister said the State government had already extended nearly ₹558 crore in incentives to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Andhra Pradesh. He said the government was now aiming to increase the number of MSMEs in the State from around 20 lakh to one crore in the coming years.Mr. Naidu said centres such as RTIH and RSVC would help young innovators, small entrepreneurs and self-help groups access technology, training and business support. He said the initiative was intended to promote locally driven enterprises and strengthen rural economies.Government Whip and MLC Kancharla Srikanth said the project would generate meaningful employment opportunities for youth and women in the Kuppam Assembly constituency and gradually curb migration in search of jobs.He said the government envisioned transforming Kuppam into a vibrant hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and rural industrial activity by nurturing local talent and supporting emerging village-based enterprises.
