Bengaluru: Kempegowda International airport operator Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) on Monday handed over a dividend of over Rs 16 crore for FY 2025-26 to Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC), said the industries department in a statement.KSIIDC holds a 13% equity stake in the company. Private investors led by Fairfax Holdings hold the majority stake of 74% in BIAL while 13% each is held by the KSSIDC and Airports Authority of India.BIAL declared a dividend of Rs 3 per share. KSIIDC received a gross payout of over Rs 16 crore and a net dividend of nearly Rs 15 crore after taxes, the statement said.It is the first dividend by BIAL since FY 2017-18. Mauritius-based investment vehicle FIH Mauritius Investments and subsidiary of Canadian investment firm Fairfax India, Anchorage Infrastructure Investments, hold 30.36% and 43.64% stakes respectively.Industries minister MB Patil, state chief secretary Shalini Rajneesh and KSIIDC MD Khushbu Goel were present, the statement added.

Bengaluru International Airport Limited, or BIAL, has given a dividend of over Rs 16 crore to the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation. This dividend is for the financial year 2025-26. KSIIDC holds a 13% stake in BIAL. This marks the first dividend from BIAL since 2017-18. Profits were previously reinvested for airport expansion.
