The Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) on Monday handed over a dividend of ₹16.49 crore for the financial year 2025-26 to the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC), which holds a 13% equity stake in the company.Chief Minister Siddaramaiah received the cheque from BIAL chairman Hari Marar.Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil said BIAL has declared a dividend of ₹3 per share for the financial year 2025-26.Accordingly, KSIIDC has received a total dividend of ₹16.49 crore. After deduction of taxes, the corporation has received a net dividend of ₹14.84 crore, he added.He said the dividend declaration reflects BIAL’s strong financial performance. KSIIDC represents the State government in the company. BIAL has declared a dividend for the first time since 2017-18.In the intervening years, the company had reinvested its profits in major projects such as infrastructure development and capacity expansion to strengthen operations at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, he explained.Mr. Patil further stated that the Airports Authority of India holds a 13% stake in BIAL, while FIH Mauritius Investments Limited and Anchorage Infrastructure Investments Holdings Limited hold 30.36% and 43.64% stakes, respectively.
