Within seconds, she collapsed to the ground.‌She was rushed to hospital in Buzău before being transferred to a specialist facility in Bucharest. Andreea was diagnosed as having suffered a stroke and underwent emergency treatment. Her condition remained critical.‌Tragically, after two weeks in a coma, she died on Saturday (23 May).Andreea, from Vintilă Vodă, came from a family of artists, as reported by NeedToKnow. She attended high school in Buzău and was part of a folk dance ensemble in Mânzălești.‌She was the granddaughter of instrumentalist Cristian Micu – himself the grandson of writer Mircea Micu – and had grown up immersed in folk music traditions.
