Established on 14 January 2010 by the Warsaw City Council, Ryszard Kapuściński Prize for literary reportage is intended to honour valuable books of reportage that deal with important contemporary issues, compel reflection and deepen knowledge of the world of other cultures. The jury of the 17th. edition, chaired by Ludwika Włodek, selected the final five from which it will choose the best reportage of the past year. The five nominees:
