adsJetour has intensified competition in Nigeria’s growing Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) market following the award of a five-star New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) safety rating to its T2 model, a development that could strengthen the appeal of safety-focused SUVs among Nigerian motorists.
The rating, regarded globally as one of the highest benchmarks for vehicle crash protection and safety technology, comes as demand for multi-purpose SUVs continues to rise in Nigeria, driven by deteriorating road conditions, increased intercity travel, and consumer preference for larger vehicles.
The T2 enters the Nigerian market as competition among auto brands intensifies across the mid- and premium-SUV segments. The vehicle is distributed through dealerships including Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos Limited, R. T. Briscoe Motors, and Mandilas Autos.
According to the company, the SUV was designed to handle a wide mix of driving conditions common across Nigeria, ranging from congested city roads to highways and rough rural terrain.
