National University’s Alyssa Solomon and Lams Lamina, University of Santo Tomas’ Detdet Pepito, and Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Lara Mae Silva banner the list of 42 aspirants who applied for the 2026 PVL Draft.Solomon, a 6-foot-1 opposite spiker who recently played in Japan, declared for the draft last Wednesday and is expected to be among the top picks in this year’s selection.Lamina, meanwhile, is a two-time UAAP Best Setter, while Pepito is a two-time UAAP Best Libero.Joining them from the UAAP are UP’s Niña Ytang, a four-time Best Middle Blocker, along with her teammates Irah Jaboneta, Joan Monares, Heart Magsombol, and Jum Gayo. Also applying are Pepito’s teammates Jonna Perdido and Xyza Gula.Far Eastern University’s Tin Ubaldo, Ann Asis, and Florize Papa also threw their names into the draft pool, along with De La Salle University’s Ela Raagas, Michelle Beterina, and Sophia Sindayen; University of the East’s Khy Cepada, Tin Ecalla, and Kayce Balingit; Adamson University’s Barbie Jamili; and Ateneo de Manila University’s Taks Fujimoto.Silva, the NCAA’s three-time Best Libero, will be joined by Nat Estreller and Julienne Castro. San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ Tina Marasigan, KJ Dionisio, and Kath Santos also applied, along with Lyceum of the Philippines’ Johna Dolorito and Jaja Tulang; Mapúa’s Nicole Ong and Grace Cabadin; San Beda’s Erin Navarro; University of Perpetual Help’s Fifi Ariola; and Jose Rizal University’s Yanyan Alona and Kring Batara.Others who also submitted their applications were Jade Fuentes of Cal State Dominguez Hills, Kirsty Destajo of the University of Nueva Caceres-Sorsogon, and Angel Galinato of the University of San Carlos.
