Newcastle United midfielder Lewis Miley has signed a new six-year contract with the club.The new terms will tie the 20-year-old academy graduate down at St James’ Park until 2032.The England Under-21 international made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, including filling in admirably at right-back while Eddie Howe’s side battled injuries.He missed the final three matches of the campaign after suffering a broken leg in training but is expected to be back for the club’s pre-season later this summer.“I’m really pleased to sign this new contract and commit my future here,” Miley said. “It’s a dream to be representing Newcastle United, so this is a proud moment for me.“I’m really grateful to everybody who has played a part in helping me get to where I am today, especially the support of my family and the trust that the club has put in me from such a young age.“It’s been an amazing journey so far and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.
