Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on emerging as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He described the outcome as a reflection of the confidence party members continue to place in his leadership.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu’s victory in the APC primaries was “well deserved.”
He also praised party members and officials for conducting what he described as peaceful and well-organised elections across the country.
