May 24 (UPI) -- Star Wars: Mandalorian and Grogu -- starring Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver -- is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $82 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Obsession with $22.4 million, followed by Michael at No. 3 with $20 million, The Devil Wears Prada 2 at No. 4 with $12.6 million and The Sheep Detectives at No. 5 with $9 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Passenger at No. 6 with $8.7 million, Mortal Kombat II at No. 7 with $6.2 million, I Love Boosters at No. 8 with $3.7 million, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at No. 9 with $3.2 million and Project Hail Mary at No. 10 with $2.7 million.
