It stars Timothy Spall and Gwyneth Keyworth who are back to tackle more murder mysteries together as their characters Detective Janie Mallowan and TV star John Chapel.The hit comedy-drama became the BBC's most successful comedy launch in five years upon the release of the first series in 2025. Each episode features a fresh murder plot set against some stunning backdrops. So where exactly is it filmed?The series showcases iconic Welsh locations including Raglan Castle in Monmouthshire which is considered the "grandest castle ever built by Welshmen." Other filming spots include Little Haven, Milford Haven, and Margam Castle in Port Talbot.Star Gwyneth Keyworth praised the authentic Welsh settings, saying: "What is great is there's an episode set in a rugby club, which, like for Welsh culture, is a big thing."
