Skip to contentThe ACEMAGIC G3A is a small desktop computer that offers some of the versatility of a desktop tower PC in a much smaller package. Measuring 212 x 189 x 86mm (8.3″ x 7.4″ x 3.4″) and with an internal volume of about 3.5 liters, it’s larger than most of machines I’d call a “mini PC,” but it offers a few things that you’d normally only expect from a much larger desktop. At the heart of the G3A is a motherboard with an LGA1700 socket that lets you bring your own 13th or 14th-gen Intel Core desktop processor. And the little computer also has room for a dual-slot, half-height discrete GPU.ACEMAGIC hasn’t announced global pricing or availability for the computer yet, but it’s expected to launch in China on May 30th. And most of the company’s existing PCs do eventually find their way to global markets.According to ITHome, ACEMAGIC plans to sell the G3A with optional NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition and RTX 2000 Ada graphics cards. But it seems like users should also be able to bring their own cards… as long as they fit inside the chassis.Another thing to keep in mind is that while the computer is designed to support a desktop-class CPU and GPU, space constraints mean that you’ll probably want to choose relatively low-power components: the computer’s cooling system is only said to be good enough to support up to 135W of heat dissipation for combined CPU and graphics performance.ACEMAGIC is also using some components that are more typically found in laptops and mini PCs. For example, the system has two SODIMM slots for laptop-sized memory and two M.2 2280 slots for PCIe Gen 4 x4 storage as well as a single drive bay that can handle a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD, but not a 3.5 inch drive.Ports include:1 x USB 3. 2 Gen 2 Type-C2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A2 x USB 2.0 Type-A1 x 2.5 GbE LAN1 x Gigabit LAN1 x HDMI1 x DisplayPort1 x 3.5mm audio2 x COM6E
