Home Minister V. Anitha conducted a whirlwind tour across the Payakaraopeta Assembly constituency on Sunday and reviewed arrangements for the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) upcoming ‘Mahanadu’ programme scheduled to be held on May 27 and 28 in a hybrid mode.The Minister inspected the function halls, meeting venues and other facilities being readied for the party’s annual conclave in various parts of the constituency. She held review meetings with local party leaders in Payakaraopeta, Nakkapalli, S Rayavaram and Kotavuratla mandals regarding the arrangements for the Mahanadu programmes to be conducted at the cluster level.She called upon party cadre to ensure the success of the event. Later, at her residence in Nakkapalli, the Minister unveiled the official poster for the Mahanadu celebrations.Addressing the media, Ms. Anitha said that Mahanadu celebrations will be organised in 1,840 clusters across Andhra Pradesh, while 10 venues have been identified in the Payakaraopeta constituency alone. The programmes would be conducted for six hours each day on May 27 and 28.During the programme, the Home Minister will also distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to beneficiaries in the constituency.
