Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Tamannaftogaz oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, along with other military targets belonging to Russian invading forces in Russia itself and in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as in Crimea.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key Russian military targets on May 23 and during the night of May 24, 2026.
In particular, they struck an oil-loading pier at the Tamannaftogaz oil terminal in the settlement of Volna, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Preliminary reports indicate that an oil-loading gantry was damaged.
The Tamannaftogaz terminal is one of Russia’s key oil export facilities in the Black Sea region. Its capacity allows for the transshipment of up to 20 million tons of oil and petroleum products annually. The facility is involved in supporting the Russian military.
