Jamiu Ogundele, Senior Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has sponsored the National Examinations Council fees for 75 outstanding students across Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in a move aimed at promoting academic excellence and supporting indigent families.

The beneficiaries, according to a statement released on Sunday by the Zonal Information Officer, Mr Lateef Akintunde, were selected from 25 secondary schools across the constituency, with the first to third best students from 10 selected senior secondary schools in Yewa North Local Government and 15 selected schools in Imeko-Afon Local Government benefiting from the initiative.

Speaking on the initiative, Ogundele described education as a critical instrument for societal advancement and sustainable development.

He said the sponsorship was designed to reduce the financial burden on parents while motivating students to strive for academic excellence.
