Before she visited Suswa in 2022, Wanjiku Njoroge had never considered the town as a potential travel destination.
“I’d been to Narok before, and though we would always pass through Suswa, I ignored it,” she says. “It wasn’t until I started seeing the hype online, people talking about the train ride, the beautiful views, and things you could do in Suswa, that I started paying attention.”
