Rising artiste Samsix has released a new single titled Syndrome, featuring Nigerian singer Barry Jhay, in a collaboration that is already gaining attention across digital streaming platforms.
The track, released under Samsix’s imprint, blends Afrobeats with soft melodic elements, with both artistes delivering a mid-tempo sound that has been described by listeners as smooth and emotionally engaging.
Beyond the music, Syndrome also brings together two notable Nigerian musical lineages. Samsix is the grandson of late theatre and music icon Hubert Ogunde, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modern Nigerian performance arts, while Barry Jhay is the son of late Fuji music legend Ayinde Barrister.
