DAMASCUS: The Higher Elections Committee conducted its final inspection of polling stations in Hasakah on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s People’s Assembly elections.
A delegation was dispatched to Ayn Al-Arab to finalize regional preparations, according to committee spokesperson Nawar Najmeh.
The delegation led by committee representatives met local subcommittees to review last-minute arrangements and finalize coordination with municipal and security officials.
Assessments focused on the security of secret ballot rooms, the availability of essential election materials, and the implementation of required logistical and safety measures.
Inspection teams evaluated designated polling sites to verify logistical readiness.
