A total of 2,704 citizens attended the ‘e-Khata Open Houses’ camp across city corporations on Saturday, marking the second week of the “Nanna e-Khata, Nanna Hakku” initiative, with authorities processing a large volume of applications related to e-Khata, mutation, corrections, B to A Khata conversions, and new Khata requests.Across all five city corporations, authorities recorded 809 e-Khata applications, 123 mutation applications, 493 correction requests, 304 B to A Khata conversion applications, and 234 new applications. Overall, 1,164 cases were disposed of against the 2,704 citizen attendances, while 1,008 cases remain pending after accounting for both previous backlog and fresh applications received during the day.Among the five city corporations, the South City Corporation recorded the highest public turnout, with 870 citizens attending the open house camp. It also saw some of the highest application volumes, including 275 e-Khata application.The South Corporation was followed by the East City Corporation with 625 attendees. During the first camp held on May 16 across 52 locations, the total number of applications related to e-Khata and Khata conversions stood at 1,505, according to GBA data.
