Chinese propulsion specialist Zhenjiang Tongzhou Propeller Co. Ltd. will present its latest high-efficiency propulsion solutions at Posidonia 2026, aiming to strengthen its presence in the European and Greek shipping markets.
The company, which specializes in the design and manufacture of fixed and controllable propellers for a wide range of vessel types, will highlight new developments focused on improving propulsion efficiency and overall vessel performance.
These technologies are designed to support shipowners’ efforts to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while complying with evolving environmental requirements such as the Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) and the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII).
Rather than conducting live demonstrations, Tongzhou plans to showcase its latest propeller designs and propulsion optimisation solutions tailored for both newbuildings and retrofit projects, with a particular focus on energy-saving performance.
