Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan is going through the kind of moment many parents quietly fear and celebrate at the same time. Her triplets, Diva, Anya and Czar, have officially graduated from school, and Farah’s latest social media post was full of the emotions that come when children suddenly don’t look like children anymore.Farah shared pictures and videos from the graduation ceremony held at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. The event turned into a proud family occasion, with the filmmaker cheering loudly as her children walked on stage to receive their certificates from Nita Ambani and badminton champion PV Sindhu. The triplets were dressed in blue graduation robes and looked visibly excited during the ceremony. In one of the videos Farah posted, she could be heard shouting to her son Czar during a photo moment, saying, “Put your head up!” The small exchange made the video feel less like a celebrity post and more like a regular family trying to capture an important day properly.'Don’t know which is tougher'Alongside the photos, Farah wrote a caption that many parents connected with almost instantly. She wrote, “Don’t know which is tougher.. raising your kids or letting them go!? They can fly as high as they dream .. there ll always be a nest waiting for them. P.s- it's impossible to find all 3 kids and husband when taking pics.”Later, she also shared another emotional line on Instagram Stories that read, “Of all that iv produced.. proudest of these.”The posts quickly drew reactions from people across the film industry. Farhan Akhtar commented, “Congratulations to all.. big hugs to them”. Zoya Akhtar reacted with heart emojis, while Suzanne Khan wrote, “Big big congratulations darling Faru”. Actors Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Karisma Kapoor also liked the post.Where the triplets are headed nextThe graduation is not just the end of school life for the siblings but also the start of separate journeys abroad. According to their bios on the DAIS Class of 2026 page, Diva will study Entrepreneurship and Finance at Babson College. Anya is set to join New York University for Economics and Data Science. Czar will pursue Artificial Intelligence for Business at Emory University in Atlanta.Farah had earlier spoken openly about how expensive university education can get, especially with three children heading for higher studies at the same time. During an appearance on the show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, she said, “Even when my movie was not happening, when I wasn’t directing, I said chal (come on), let me do YouTube. Also, I have 3 kids who will go to university next year, and that’s bloody expensive.”She added, “So I just said for a change, let me start a show on YouTube, and that just clicked.”Farah’s family life away from filmsFarah married filmmaker-editor Shirish Kunder in 2004 after the two worked together on Main Hoon Na. The couple welcomed their triplets in 2008 through IVF, something Farah has spoken about many times over the years. While Farah has spent decades in Bollywood directing films like Happy New Year and choreographing songs, her recent YouTube cooking videos with her cook Dilip have brought her a completely different audience online. Many viewers now see another side of her — less filmmaker, more mother, host and everyday person.
