In Congo, 82 cases have been confirmed, with 7 confirmed deaths, 177 suspected deaths, and nearly 750 suspected cases, leading the WHO to declare the outbreak an emergency of international concern. An American national working in Congo tested positive for Ebola and was transferred to Germany for care, with reports also indicating another American national with high-risk contact was transferred to the Czech Republic.
