TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that the weather in major cities in Indonesia will generally be dominated by light to moderate rain on Saturday.BMKG forecaster Medayu Bestari, in an online broadcast followed from Jakarta on Saturday, as quoted by ANTARA, reported that cities in Sumatra such as Aceh, Medan (North Sumatra), Padang (West Sumatra), Jambi, Pekanbaru (Riau), Pangkal Pinang (Bangka Belitung Islands), and Palembang (South Sumatra) have the potential for light to moderate rain.Meanwhile, there is potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning in Tanjung Pinang (Riau Islands), Bengkulu, and Bandar Lampung."For Java, light to moderate rain is forecast across major cities such as Serang (Banten), Jakarta, Bandung (West Java), Semarang (Central Java), and Surabaya (East Java).
