Ontario mandarins are being reminded freedom of information requests must continue to be processed despite recent restrictions limiting what can be made public.

In the wake of Doug Ford’s controversial legislative amendment excluding records of the premier, ministers, parliamentary assistants and aides from being released under the freedom of information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), there has been confusion about what can be made public.
