In an update, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said officers attempted to stop a vehicle at 3pm. The force said the car drone directly at police to get away, and an firearms officer fired one shot.The driver of the car was taken to hospital for an injury to his arm, which has been described as neither life-threatening nor life changing.
