Auckland FC will host Sydney FC in the 2026 A-League Men grand final at Go Media Stadium on Saturday night – the first time the title-deciding fixture has been played in New Zealand.
The two teams finished third and fifth at the end of the regular season. Auckland are chasing their first championship in their second season, after topping the table and winning the premiership in season one, while Sydney are chasing a record-extending sixth.
Saturday’s match kicks off at 8.10pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sport with live updates here on Stuff from 7pm through to the lifting of trophy.
The 2026 decider pits A-League Men’s newest club against its most successful club and features two teams who look to keep a clean sheet first and score goals second, so you shouldn’t go into it looking for a back-and-forth blockbuster.
Both coaches know what it takes to win championships.
