TVTV NewsEmily AtackEmily Atack looks very different in a throwback clip from a television appearance in 200716:56, 22 May 2026Emily Atack looks completely different in a clip of her first TV role.‌The actress is now a familiar face with viewers, with a current role in steamy Disney+ hit Rivals and new quiz show Nobody's Fool starting this weekend.‌But she is unrecognisable in a throwback clip from a 2007 episode of Blue Murder, a crime drama starring Caroline Quentin as DCI Janine Lewis and Ian Kelsey as DI Richard Mayne.‌The footage was posted on Instagram ahead of the launch of Nobody's Fool, which Emily is hosting with her Rivals co-star Danny Dyer.In the clip, Emily's character Kelly has a run in with the police after she apparently goes to a property looking for her boyfriend.‌"He stands me up, doesn't return my phone calls for three days, and I'm not having it, tell them I want him out here now!" she rants."You keep looking at me like and I'm going to chin ya!" she yells at the officers.Things heat up and she rushes towards the officers, and they end up in a tussle.‌The star was in her late teens when she landed the role, previously sharing on Rob Brydon's podcast Brydon & that she had secured an agent and was determined to become an actress.She said: "He said to me, 'You've got your first ever audition, it's for a guest lead in an ITV drama called Blue Murder, with Caroline Quentin'. I went up for the audition, I learned the lines and I got the role.‌"I must've had the complete naivety to it and I was fearless and I didn't care what people thought of me."Emily went on to be cast as the character Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, the role which propelled her to fame.She has also tried reality TV, appearing on both Dancing on Ice and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, and she was a team captain on comedy panel show Celebrity Juice.
