Allatipalli Pavan Kumar Reddy assumed office as the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore District (Rural) Police, on Friday.The outgoing SP K. Karthikeyan, who is replacing Mr. Reddy’s position as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Tambaram, welcomed him.Mr. Reddy met Inspector General of Police (West Zone) R.V. Ramya Bharathi and Deputy Inspector General of Police (Coimbatore Range) P. Saminathan after taking charge. The two senior officers briefed him on areas requiring more focus and priority.
