May 22 (UPI) -- Prime Video is giving a glimpse of the new series Vought Rising.
The streaming service shared a first look teaser for the show Friday featuring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.
Vought Rising is a prequel to The Boys, which concluded Wednesday after a five-season run on Prime Video. The show takes place in the 1950s and explores "the twisted origins of Vought International," according to a press release.
Set in the same world as the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book series that inspired The Boys, Vought Rising centers on a younger Soldier Boy (Ackles) and Stormfront (Cash).
