‘Peaky Blinders’ Sequel First Look: Charles Shelby is All Grown Up as ‘Stranger Things’ Star Charlie Heaton Steps Into the Role of Tommy’s Son

Charlie Heaton is swapping the 1980s for the 1950s in the first image of him on the set of the untitled sequel to “Peaky Blinders.”

Heaton, best known for his role as Jonathan Byers in Netflix monster hit “Stranger Things,” is set to play Charles Shelby in the series, which also stars Jamie Bell as his half-brother Duke Shelby.

The six-episode series will focus on the next generation of Shelbys after patriarch Tommy, played by Cillian Murphy, bowed out in the recently-released movie spin-off, “The Immortal Man.” Duke was played by Barry Keoghan in the film.

Charles severed all ties to the Peaky Blinders gang, and the hedonistic Shelby lifestyle. But can you ever escape your own blood?”
