Emma Willis has been confirmed as one of the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe, while Netflix makes a decision on her hosting Love Is Blind UK with husband Matt Willis12:40, 22 May 2026Updated 12:56, 22 May 2026Emma Willis's future on Love is Blind UK has been confirmed following her appointment to the prestigious Strictly hosting role.‌Earlier this week, the TV icon was announced as one of the new presenters of the beloved BBC programme alongside Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe.‌It’s no doubt very exciting news for the former Big Brother and The Voice UK frontwoman, 50, who will be stepping into the role previously filled by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.‌However, securing one of television's most coveted positions left some of Emma's supporters questioning what it would mean for her involvement in Love is Blind UK.Emma has fronted the Netflix programme with husband Matt, 43, since 2024, with a third series scheduled to broadcast later this year.‌Netflix has now confirmed to The Mirror that the pair will remain as hosts of the programme - which comes after it was announced that comedian Josh, 43, will also continue on The Last Leg on Channel 4, as it doesn't conflict with Strictly filming.Meanwhile, Emma shared her feelings about the Strictly announcement in a behind-the-scenes video on Wednesday. In the footage, she said: "I still can't find words because my tummy is just flipping consistently."I imagine it's how you feel when you know you've got to walk down the stairs. 'Dancing the cha cha!' and everything goes to jelly. That's how I feel thinking about what we're about to do."‌In another clip, the camera focused on Josh as he admitted: "I've just realised that I've been booked to present something with two of the most striking people on television, and I look like me. Absolute disaster.""Emma is one of the great TV hosts of our generation, and Johannes is one of the great dancers of our generation, and I'm here as well."‌Shirley Ballas, who has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing for nearly a decade, previously shared her belief that viewers will witness a "masterclass" in how to change up a format with the trio at the helm."I think it's absolutely brilliant what the BBC have done," she told the Mirror. "Of course, I've worked with Emma on and she's an absolute star. She's very calm, so beautiful, she keeps everything together. And there's only one Johannes in the whole world. I mean, who wouldn't want him somewhere in that trio?"And I'm not that familiar with Josh, but I met him this week after Good Morning Britain and I've since looked at some of his work.. I think it's going to be fresh and interesting."Article continues belowFollow Mirror Celebs on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Threads.
