The SPCA has shared a touching story of a man who was reunited with his beloved dog, five years after it went missing.
In a post on social media, the Durban and Coast SPCA shared how a stray pit bull arrived at its premises earlier this month.
"As we always do, our team scanned for a microchip, and yes, the owner's details were found," the SPCA said.
It said the owner was overcome by emotions when contacted by their team.
