The toll in the blast reported at a restaurant in Thanjavur on May 18 has risen to two with the death of air-condition mechanic, Ganesan, 43, of Thanjavur, at the Thanjavur Medical College and Hospital on May 21.Raviraj, 27, an employee of the multinational fried chicken restaurant chain outlet functioning at the Marys’ Corner area, died when the air-conditioner outdoor unit blast occurred.The blast took place when Ganesan was attempting to refill gas in an air-conditioner outdoor unit at a restaurant.
