The Vitality T20 Blast has been revamped for 2026 in a bid to see a greater focus on derby rivalries and a more balanced schedule to support the performance of the players. What this means for fans is that 80% of group-stage fixtures will take place on a Friday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday — making it far easier to watch games. In the men’s competition, the playing format has changed from two groups of nine to three groups of six. These are split into north, central and south, with each county playing 12 group-stage matches, six at home and six away.Running alongside the men’s, the women’s tournament has also received a refresh. League One (12 group-stage games) and League Two (eight group-stage games) now both feature nine teams thanks to the addition of Yorkshire, who will take part for the first time. There will also be a total of 61 double headers during the group stage, where the men’s and women’s matches will be played at the same venue and follow one another. This year, the women’s finals day will also mirror the men’s format — with two semi-finals and a final — to be played on Friday, July 17 at the Kia Oval, with the men’s finals day taking place the following day at Edgbaston. Meanwhile, the League 2 finals day will be staged at Sophia Gardens on Sunday, July 12.Here's a guide to how to watch T20 Blast 2026 live streams from anywhere, and potentially for FREE.
