Group Blames Widespread Insecurity on Negligence, Silence

A group, Odua Peoples Congress Initiative (OPCI), has attributed negligence, carelessness, and I “don’t care” attitude among some leaders and stakeholders to the persistent security challenges in the country.
The President of OPCI, Mr. Maruf Olanrewaju, in a statement yesterday
said that the insecurity engulfing Yorubaland today did not appear overnight, stressing that it spread like wildfire because of a failure to act when action was needed.
