Chelsea legend Cesar Azpilicueta has announced his retirement from professional football. The 36-year-old Spaniard confirmed his decision via a post on X, bringing an end to a distinguished two-decade career.Azpilicueta joined Chelsea in 2012, becoming a stalwart at Stamford Bridge for 11 years. He amassed 508 appearances, securing two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a League Cup, and two Europa League trophies. He famously captained the side to their 2021 Champions League triumph, cementing his legendary status among the Blues faithful.His career began at Osasuna back in 2006, before he moved to Marseille where he secured two French League Cups and a French Super Cup.
