Hosted by Queen Latifah, the 52nd edition will broadcast live nationwide from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25 at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers can tune in via CBS or catch the livestream on Paramount+.More than just an award ceremony, the American Music Awards will set the stage for a star-studded lineup of music icons. Fans can look forward to performances from stars like Billy Idol, Hootie & the Blowfish, Keith Urban, Maluma, The Pussycat Dolls + Busta Rhymes, Riley Green, Twenty One Pilots, and many more. According to Billboard, five of the scheduled performers are the 2026 Grammy nominees: Karol G, KATSEYE, sombr, Teddy Swims, and Teyana Taylor. In addition to those set to electrify the stage, the AMAs will feature presenters from across the entertainment industry. 2026 Oscar and Grammy winner EJAE, best known for co-writing HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” is among the confirmed presenters alongside co-star REI AMI. Standup comedian Nikki Glaser and Hacks star Megan Stalter are also expected to appear, as well as Lisa Rinna.Deadline reported more names confirmed to present the AMAs, including Ludacris, Alysa Liu, Paul W. Downs, Paula Abdul, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Anthony Ramos, John Legend, Russell Dickerson, Melanie Martinez, Jason Derulo, Mariah the Scientist, and Matt Rife.The 2026 American Music Awards is the largest fan-voted awards show in the world. This year’s nominations are led by Taylor Swift with eight nods, followed by sombr, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sabrina Carpenter, who each pulled in seven nominations.The ceremony is also expected to deliver memorable moments, as Dariys Rusker will receive the Veterans Voice Awards.
