A total of 17 companies were shortlisted in seven categories.
Companies operating in Slovakia once again had the opportunity to enter Via Bona Slovakia and showcase either an outstanding project or an exemplary approach to doing business. Independent expert panels selected 17 projects in six categories for the final round of the 26th edition of the Via Bona Slovakia awards. Organised annually by the Pontis Foundation, the awards recognise companies that link their business activities to a positive impact on society.
The finalists include small, medium-sized and large companies from a wide range of sectors. Their projects focus on areas such as cutting emissions and promoting recycling, supporting inclusive employment, and opening up important social issues through public campaigns. The shortlist also features long-term community programmes that deliver practical solutions. In two broader categories, expert panels will assess companies’ overall approach to responsible business.
The winners in each category will be announced by the Pontis Foundation at a gala evening in the New Synagogue in Žilina on June 16.
