NEW YORK, May 22. /TASS/. US company SpaceX has again postponed the 12th test flight of its Starship prototype, this time when the countdown has already begun.
When the launch window opened, SpaceX rescheduled the start several times for technical reasons, which the team expected to fix within several minutes. However, it was eventually decided to postpone the launch, because all the issues could not be resolved today.
The launch was initially scheduled for May 19, but was postponed to May 21. Now SpaceX plans another attempt on May 22.
It was the first flight of Starship S39 - the third generation of SpaceX rockets. Being 124 meters tall and having the thrust of 8,000 metric tons, it would be the largest space rocket in history.
