The Basic Education Group has called for stronger collaboration with the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board in a bid to improve access to quality basic education in the state.

The group made the call on Tuesday during an advocacy visit to the ADSUBEB headquarters in Yola, where it met the Executive Chairman, Dr. Murtala Umar Babayi and other management staff of the board.

Arewa PUNCH gathered that the visit was part of efforts to strengthen partnerships and support government reforms in the basic education sector across the state.

Speaking during the engagement, the leader of the delegation, Amb. Shafa S. Salma said the group was committed to working with relevant stakeholders to improve learning outcomes.

“We are here on an advocacy visit to strengthen collaboration with the board so as to improve access to education, enhance learning outcomes, and support ongoing government reforms in the basic education sector,” she said.
