Benito is already in Barcelona. The Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny was spotted on Wednesday going in and out of his hotel in the city centre, sending his fans into a frenzy after they managed to track him down thanks to a video that went viral on social media. “Benito! Look at him! Look at him!” the young fans gathered could be heard shouting by the van taking him back to the hotel.
The artist’s presence confirms what his followers have been waiting for for weeks: this Friday 22 May the first Spanish stop on his Debí tirar más fotos world tour kicks off at the Estadi Olímpic Lluis Companys, the tour with which he is presenting his sixth studio album. On Saturday 23 there will be a second night at the same venue before the convoy heads to Lisbon and, from there, to Madrid.
In the capital, Bad Bunny has 10 dates booked at the Civitas Metropolitano between 30 May and 15 June, making him the artist to have played the most consecutive nights at the stadium. In all, more than 600,000 tickets have been sold in Spain.
