adsTitus Saul Ketkukah, Bauchi State Honourable commissioner of works and transport, on Thursday, said that civil engineering laboratories position the state as a forward-looking state committed to global best practices.
The commissioner said this during the commissioning of the three (3) civil engineering laboratories of asphalt and transportation, soil mechanics and the structural, which were held at the Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA).
He said that the magnificent facilities are not merely a building, but a symbol of progress, innovation, technical excellence and a renewed commitment to quality infrastructure delivery in Bauchi State.
According to him, he said that “Today marks yet another milestone in the determined journey of infrastructural renewal and institutional strengthening under the visionary leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the state, whose administration continues to redefine governance through practical development, strategic investments and people-oriented projects across the state”
He further said that the laboratories will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, durability and sustainability of roads and transportation infrastructure, provide critical geotechnical analysis necessary for safe, reliable construction projects and will also strengthen the capacity for material testing, structural integrity assessments and engineering research.adsads
