After three Billboard-charting singles, the mysterious masked regional Mexican artist Chuyin breaks onto the album charts with his debut studio album, Los Locos Nunca Mueren, which lands at No. 9 on the Top Regional Mexican Albums and at No. 17 on the Top Latin Albums charts (dated May 23). The 16-track set was released May 7 on Fuerza Regida’s label, Street Mob Records.
“The truth is, I am very proud that thanks to my immortals, we made it to the Billboard charts,” the crocheted-masked singer, whose identity is not known to the public, tells Billboard. “This is my first album, and I put all my effort and love into it. This is just the beginning, but it feels very special to know that the fans are listening to it and enjoying the music.”
