OLONGAPO CITY— A militant fisherfolk group on Thursday blasted Sen. Pia Cayetano’s emotional Senate display as “crocodile tears,” accusing her of playing the victim to distract the public from the chamber’s protection of a colleague facing international charges.
In a statement, the group Pamalakaya condemned the “extended drama” in the Senate, following Cayetano’s emotional breakdown over a May 13 gun-related security breach on the premises.
