Apple TV is home to Major League Soccer, Formula 1, and Friday Night Baseball. And this weekend, the streamer just announced it will broadcast the first major professional live sporting event shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro.

Last fall, Apple started experimenting with using iPhone 17 Pro to shoot live sports.
The first testing ground was Friday Night Baseball, with the September 26 game between the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park shot live on the brand new iPhone 17 Pro.
This weekend, Apple will mark another major milestone for iPhone 17 Pro. It will be used to shoot the entirety of the MLS matchup between the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo FC.
