Oben Electric, one of the fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced plans to strengthen its presence across Kerala with the addition of 10 new showrooms across the State by the end of FY27.The expansion will extend the company’s presence to all 14 districts in Kerala, further strengthening accessibility to electric motorcycles, after-sales support and customer engagement across one of the country’s fastest-growing EV markets.The announcement comes amid strong nationwide demand for the newly launched Oben Rorr Evo, which recorded over 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch following its debut on April 30.As part of its Kerala market expansion, Oben Electric also showcased the Oben Rorr Evo in Kochi. The company currently operates seven showrooms across Kerala, including Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Malappuram, Palakkad, Kondotty and Alappuzha.Kerala continues to remain one of Oben Electric’s strongest-performing markets, driven by rising demand for high-performance electric motorcycles and increasing EV adoption across the state. With our planned expansion across all 14 districts in Kerala by the end of FY27, we aim to bring the complete Oben ownership experience closer to customers through wider retail reach, dependable after-sales support and a strong service network.”The vehicle is offered at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers and ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) thereafter.Oben Electric currently operates through 150+ showrooms and dedicated service centres across 100+ cities in 18+ states, with plans to add 200 additional exclusive showrooms across India by the end of FY27. The vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh motorcycles and the company designs and manufactures all critical EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units (VCUs), chargers and proprietary software systems.Published on May 21, 2026
