The ruling, delivered by Federal Court Judge Michael Wheelahan, brings to an end a three-year legal battle between the company and Australia’s online safety regulator.
Under the court order published on Wednesday, according to ABC, X Corp was directed to pay a $650,000 penalty and an additional $100,000 in legal costs to the Australian government within 45 days.
