The angry farmers, who spoke during a political gathering in Yola on Wednesday, lamented that relentless Boko Haram and ISWAP attacks have turned farming communities into killing fields, leaving residents terrified and economically crippled.

Farmers from the troubled communities of Gombi, Hong, Michika and Madagali Local Government Areas of Adamawa State have vowed to abandon their farms over worsening insecurity, declaring that they would also reject the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in all future elections.

The angry farmers, who spoke during a political gathering in Yola on Wednesday, lamented that relentless Boko Haram and ISWAP attacks have turned farming communities into killing fields, leaving residents terrified and economically crippled.

Their frustration follows recent bloody attacks across the affected LGAs, particularly the massacre in Guyaku community in Gombi LGA, where suspected terrorists stormed a football field during a local match and opened fire on residents.
