The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce in Athens (AmCham) and the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce in New York (HACC New York) signed a memorandum of understanding this week to strengthen economic ties between Greece and the US.

As it notes on its web page, the memorandum is aimed at “promoting bilateral trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and institutional collaboration between the two countries.”

It added that the agreement “marks an important step toward deeper institutional cooperation and stronger business connectivity between Greece and the US.”

AmCham was represented by its president, John D. Saracakis, and its executive director, Elias Spirtounias. Representing HACC were president Eftihia Pylarinou-Piper, executive board members Daniel Tadros and Olga Bornozi, and board member Leonidas Tzonis.
